Le Syndicat National des Journalistes du Cameroun (SNJC) lance aujourd’hui l’Opération carte de presse internationale, visant à mettre à la disposition des professionnels des médias nationaux (journalistes, cameramen, photojournalistes, freelance, etc.) l’outil d’identification le plus prestigieux du monde.
Utilisée dans 119 pays de toutes les langues, la carte de presse internationale délivrée par la Fédération Internationale des Journalistes (FIJ) est notamment reconnue à l’Onu et à l’Union européenne.
Il est toutefois important de répondre ici à une question qui revient souvent au sujet de la CPI : elle n’est pas un moyen d’obtenir des visas.

(Douala/Brussels, October, 22nd, 2008) – The Cameroon Journalists Trade Union (CJTU) launches today the International Press Cards Operation, which aims to provide media professionals (journalists, cameramen, photojournalists, freelance journalists, etc.) the most prestigious identification tool available in the World.
Commonly used in more than 119 countries throughtout the World, the IFJ International Press Card is recognized in the whole ONU system and the European Union.
It is however important to immediately respond to a common preoccupation in relation with the IPC : the card is not a way to obtain visas but only for the use of field media professionals.
